Extra bosses?
Should you be able to fight stronghold bosses (if they're added) by having the enderegg with you. This would be sort of a reward for going through all that pain of getting the eyes of ender (unless you play on creative). Also maybe for the mc vets there should be a bonus boss if you have the enderegg on hardcore.

Sounds pretty cool, but I doubt it will be implemented anytime soon):
Yeah we will probably just get a few bug fixes in the next update. However isn't notch leaving to do another project and leaving jeb in charge? If so jeb seems to be more creative with mobs and such. So we may have a massive update coming.
