I need something to replace factions with, not getting many players out of it.
I have a prison server, creative server and a factions server. So what should I do? If you say mini-games, what type of mini-games?

in other words, things like:
- In Hunger/Survival Games, you could add pressure plates or trip wires that teleport you to random spots on the map as a way to escape from someone.
- In Parkour, add some falling levels in which you have to avoid platforms, eventually splashing down into some water or onto a ladder.
Just some ideas!

Hunger games is in our prison server since it kinda links to our story line
A server where you get a job, and save up for a house. Once you get a certain amount of money, you can rank up. Higher ranks get better jobs. You can work for a company owned by another player. once your a very high rank and have a ton of cash, you can buy a company. You will also have to buy an office building. You can higher lower ranked players to work for you, and they will receive a salary. Eventually you can buy a mansion.
I would do this but as you said, custom plugin. Can't really afford it plus it wouldn't be cheap...

A good Factions alternative is Towny. Also, make sure you get mcMMO. It's a really good plugin.
I have MCMMO and my factions server is probably more unique then others. But whats the difference between towny and factions? Plus there are a lot of towny servers, its getting to the point where its like factions
