Feedback About A Modded Server
Notice! This is a post that I just want feedback on! No server Applications, pics, ect...
Topic: A Day Z Style Server
I am thinking about starting on making a Day Z type server that uses mods. I would post a mod pack (Full of all the mods needed for the server, a texturepack, a website (With a forum, and other cool things), dedicated staff, and before I started on this, I was just wondering if you guys think the server would make get some people. All the feedback you can give would be great! Please be honest and feel free to leave a comment below too!

Unmodded: MineZ
Modded: Crafting Dead by Ferullo.

You can use plugins and mods at the same time with MCPC+ And I know what plugins are and what they do xD But do you think that if the server didn't use mods just plugins that it would get a lot more people
If that's the question then yes, I think more people join unmodded servers because, of course they have to get the mods.
I would think because players are use to all the commands and plugins on a server, usually not many modded servers....

Well is it Arma 2 based DayZ or the new DayZ game based off the Arma version? Either way I'm joining, but good luck finding all the plugins need!
Well I have the plugins and its not really based from DayZ it would just be a Zombie Apoc. server were you could loot towns, rank up, play with friends, ect... and do sou think if I didn't use mods in it would I get A lot more players?
If you are using Craftbukkit then you can't use mods (I think) you use plugins which are equal to mods but not as much things that mods give like new items

I don't think you'll get many players, even though it'd be fun. It's easier to just join a MineZ server for most folks and requiring a modpack limits how many people are actually able to join you.
If you make a server website, be sure to make a modpack with the mods you're using.
