Its good for a first.
So the first one would look so much better if the changing words would scroll down the page rather than flash out.
I do not like the second one because too much is happening at one time.

How did you make the moving parts?
What program/software do you use to make these?
I use PhotoShop CC
This is good for a first banner, but perhaps for your next banner you could try and make the background (the orange bit) fade a bit more obviously, e.g. pink to blue, yellow to cyan, etc. It makes it more eye catching
Not that good. Font is nooby, and you've pretty much checked all of the effects on PS. Like, gradient, soft light, inner glow, textures.

Very nice, but please don't be like the guy above me and put a distracting banner in your signature, a simple message is enough.
