When I first started Minecraft? We had none of those except Survival. Though there was also Classic too but that was separate. But now? I mostly start in creative. Most times I access MC I'm just building something for an upcoming video. I hardly play the game anymore. It lost its flavor a long time ago

Not necessarily. People could be coming from YouTube and know about these three gamemodes due to videos posted by YouTubers. I knew about Creative and Adventure mode from Markiplier when he was doing his Drunk Minecraft series when I was starting Minecraft.
