Ah,this happens to me a lot.It mostly happens when I press a key a lot.Like if I hold down "W" for a long amount of time,it keeps walking foward. You should try going to the menu when it happens. When it does it for me,it stops after I do that.
next time press F5 to see

Ok, this is a pure glitch. I get it all the time. While I'm playing, my player starts walking in one direction, lets pretend right. To stop this, press the right arrow key. Anyone get the same glitch?
OH i do that all the time XD, im at the edge and WHOOP i flop in and burn its just a little bug
Now Im on the hunt for herobrine but ghosts in minecraft? Ill consider looking into researching it.
It was a key board error when u barley tap the key and it types it in
As the previous have stated, lag or water. Or you have a mod installed and the textures are bugging.
Maybe it's an invisible slime so u thought what was that poop splat noise?! Lol
With the mountian one- it is likely that it was a burning zombie? or a skeleton!
ya its herobrine he resently found his way back into the game
it could be H......E........R........O.........B.........R.......I......N.........E
No. Just... No. He doesn't exist, and will never... (Exception, mods)
Well, I shall offer a simple solution.
1) The Sticky Keys.
Sometimes when you are playing, the keyboard will get a slight error, and it will continue sending a signal that the key is still pressed.
How to fix?
Tap the error'd key a few times.
2) Invisible Water.
Sometimes, Minecraft itself will error, and this causes the effect of water pushing you in a certain direction.
How to fix?
Save and quit the world, then re-log into the world. Should fix itself.
I gathered these from my own experience.

It Could Have Been Just A Really Bad Bug. Or a Slime.
I was on singleplayer and was watching the direction I was pushed from.....
Sometimes happens.
If you allocated less the 512 ram to it... And you sprint quickly somewhere and stop. The Air block (0) is changed to (1) and otherwise solid for a second, Pushing you very fast.
If its a server

No slimes can spawn in small rooms. They glitch up and down the walls and they can still hurt and push you. It was a slime
Maybe it was a VERY bad bug...
it couldn't have been a slime because the room wasn't big enough for a slime to spawn
Same thing happened to me, except I wasn't near lava. This was also in Singleplayer. I was building my house when I was inspecting it's walls from above on a hill. All of a sudden I was pushed from behind and I fell, hurting myself. I looked up and the thing that pushed me wasn't there. I went back up to the same spot and I swear, I turned around to where I was pushed, and was pushed again off the hill except I was looking in the opposite direction.
interesting i like paranormal stuff and i like minecraft so that is interesting
and this should be in the "Ghosts in the Code" section
ever heard of mobs? it was probably a slime
