Now, I'm not sure if this is a glitch, but this was a kind of interesting... glitch, I guess. It was also incredibly helpful. Now, I have a few screenshots, although I'm not sure if I can figure out how to set them up on here. Therefore, if you'd like to see, contact me via Skype.
Alright, now, I was looking for a good spot to place some generated buildings in my world. I was using several mods, including Metallurgy, CustomNPCs and Chocolate quest. As I was searching, I saw a two-block high tower of first beige then white blocks appear in an unloaded chunk, but as I got closer, teleport farther away. I wondered if I had left my livestream on and it had suddenly started working, and someone saw and was just screwing with me; but I had, in fact, closed it.
I ignored it the first few times, although I came up with an idea. I would place the structures on the spot that the tower of blocks marked. Each time it turned out actually quite beautifully, as normally it ends up falling off of some unforeseen cliff ad looks awkward and unrealistic.
The fourth time I started screenshotting so I could show people. I saw it MANY times but I only really got a few screenshots, less than a dozen. The blocks it is made of is not actually in the game, so that made me curious. I have taken to naming it slendy, although it only moves when you come close to it. I has stopped being beige, so I think that was a game glitching it.
As I said, I saw it many times, although mostly it was in the ocean or I saw it as I was moving towards it. Many of the successful captures were right after another, so I had a couple streaks of it appearing.
I'll allow you to decide what it was, exactly, but I found it to be the most useful "Ghost in the Code" to me.

im not sure maybe i have seen it before and it kinda is not a glitch just do /give mod_block and it will work only comes with forge
While I was using mods at the time, I've used all of these mods in the same amount and versions on a different world, sans ghost blocks.
Mods, glitch out a ton. I think this is an answer. lol
