i try to log into minecraft to play but it refuses to connect. i went to MC.net it lets me log in there but why wont my Application work? help!

This may sound weird but delete the last character of your password replace it and then try and log in. Let me know if it works.

yep crew mods. black screen auto log off and wont even TRY to log in screw this.
What does it say? Does it say can't connect to minecraft? Or does it show "Done Loading" Or does it show just a black screen?
nothing is working its pissing me offf. i will NEVER install mods again because of this.
Force an Update if not there is something wrong with your graphic card or it is a virus version of minecraft (Well if its cracked)

This happens sometimes with me. It's most likely because a browser is interfering with Minecraft or your network connection is weak.
Just close out of all excessive windows and then try it. Trying to log in a couple of times in a row works sometimes, too.

That is really strange, maybe just un-install Minecraft then go to http://Minecraft.net/ and log in then re-install it.

I'm better w/ mac but. Go to the windows thingy at the bottom. Then click it then search "Run". Then, you have to type %appdata%. Go to your .minecraft folder and delete it! When you log back in you should be able to go in and the folder will reboot itself and re-create itself too. So, then it should work. Sorry I'm not the greatest w/ windows, I have a mac myself!
Idk reinstall minecraft? Minecraft.net has been very slow in the past few days too though.

If actually in 1.7.3 (like me) this sometimes happens to me so just close the application completely, reboot your application and it should work. If it doesn't restart your computer (go to the apple for mac and click restart, or for windows go to the thing at the bottom and click the shut down button then reboot).
Are you still maybe in 1.6.6? If so go to options and click force update.
