Help!

I need help if I have a server with a lot of ram and its on a mac and I have a computer that has little ram and is windows if I run the console on windows would it start server I mean console by that java console one so would the server work if I ran a copy of the java console on my windows device it would work also if im wrong what consle would I use to start the server because my server is using more ram my windows can carry and would it use any ram if the whole file is on a other computer
