One year ago Minecraft was running so smooth I could even set the render distance on far (32-Bit by the way). But as time went on, it started to decrease its fps, Before it was like 60-80 fps but now it's 5-8 fps. Can anyone help? I've already tried
-Optifine (Nothing happened)
-set the render distance to short or tiny (Still lagging)
-Set the graphics to fast (It was like that the time I got it)
-Closed the other programs (Also took out the programs that open up when I start the laptop
-set the particles to minimal
Don't tell me to buy a new computer or laptop. I only need to find a way to make the lag
go down. Thank you for your time.

That is your problem, and because they added so many new features to minecraft, even my awesome computer lags at some points D:

Il'l give you a list of solutions on how you can easily fix the lag on a PC
Solution 1: Go to task manager and see how many processes you are running, might have a lot of programs running in the background, also reboot.
Solution 2: Download tuneup utilities and turn on turbo mode. Or just Turn on fog.
This is for Macs
Solution 1: Open Finder and find applications folder, open utilities, open Java preferences, select the first line and click options, type

You got to much stuff on the computer, that happened to me, I have lots of high 3d games and they are all 1fps on my old computer so I got this one, my old one couldn't play minecraft well anyway. This one can play minecraft, host a 50slot server and listen to music whilst on PMC all at once (it is a laptop) so yeah, you needa spend quite a bit for about 5/6 years. Maybe about $1-3000 I have had this for about 6months, I still am getting 100+fps on minecraft whilst doing everything stated and my computer!
But my Laptop can handle almost every single 3D Game I download. D:
Thanks by the way. We're planning to get a PC anyways.

or set it 2 balanced or sumthing
(I may be wrong) but I think your computer is just getting slow. Same thing happened to mine. I just have to deal with it..
