Ok well I am trying to convert my Minecraft Map to 1.2.3 but I keep getting a blackscreen what do I do? Have you had this problem?

ok i know how to fix it (if this doesnt work your doomed (jk) so hopefully it works) go into minecraft launcher above login click options then click force update then login regularly and then try and convert your maps
ok I didn't have mods that would add new blocks and such witch is usaully the main reason for that kind of problem. But I don't know how to fix that kind of problem.
Well, if you have a mod(s) installed it can be stopping it from converting to Anvil. For the most, try getting all the mods off Minecraft. If that does not work, there is a good chance that something is perventing it.
It shouldn't do that unless you have a mod that could mess it up.
