ok so i left my boyfriend alone with my computer with minecraft open and he accidentally deleted my main single player world (which i have worked so hard on). i was wondering if there is anyway i can get it back maybe through my .minecraft or something? please help

well, considering if you're like me, you probably turned off your computer and turned it back on again, if you did that then there's no way to get it back, if he deleted it, there's most likely no way to get it back either, sorry :/
You can try something like Recuva or Pandora Recovery and see if you have any luck. If any portion of the data has already been overwritten on the hard disk, the world is pretty much irretrievable.

He must be an idiot if he accidentally deleted a world. The freaking button says "delete world." How is it possible to delete it by accident? :L
It's not, like, in your recycle bin, is it? Probably not. Well, anyway, your best plan of action might be to sit down in creative and try to re-create some of the resources you had before the world got deleted, then start survival again. Or just start a new world.
No, I don't think there is any way to retrieve it.
Also, if you have a boyfriend, I'm guessing you're pretty old (17+), so your boyfriend is probably an idiot.
