How do I edit blocks when I'm editing the default texture pack? I'm new to doing this kinda stuff... I can't find the folder for the blocks.
Can anybody tell me, please?

Thanks in advance!

The white stuff around what should be clear is because if you are using an editing tools such as paint, what was clear in the defualt texture pack has been saved as the colour white (or black depending on what block is it) If you have something like photoshop or similar to edit with, you can actually erase the white from things like glass or torches so they are see-through.
