How can u make wheat grow faster?

Im doing a hardcore single player session, and the wheat just takes forever to grow! any tips? i have to hunt more now

Bonemeal or water or lighting or you could try hs wheat growing ritual I came up with probably won't work but you can try.
Yeah it's just bonemeal and water However, skeletons usually drop two bones, making 6 bonemeal for two bread
surround it with water and make sure it has sufficient lighting.
lighting up the area makes it grow faster then with no light, and if you go to far away from it it will stop growing as it will no longer be am active chunk. lso, as mentioned above, bonemeal instant grows wheat.
