Just wanted to let everyone know that for me Fraps is causing the issue. I've sent a support ticket to have it fixed. As soon as Fraps is closed the game works.
Don't worry bud. I played a couple months ago. Today I download minecraft and have the exact same issue. I've tried java 7, java 6, latest nvidia drivers, clean install, latest beta nvidia drivers, I have no idea why i'm having issues. I've also tried uninstalling lucid logix, installing latest, several reboots.

You shouldn't use java 7 and java 6 at the same time. Uninstall java 7.
