Journals?
I think we should be able to write in journals/notebooks:
They should have a certain (unknown) number of pages, and maybe this could be a quill:

Maps would be VERY useful. Or perhaps a sketch pad of some sort...
Agreed. Someone also suggested the same for quill, but having a bowl instead of a stick, since the feather is the pen, then just put bowl on bottom and ink in middle and feather on top. I also liked the idea that someone had about making maps by using 9 pages
