Making a texture pack
I started making a texture pack, but soon gave up. Is there any tips, tricks or advice. I am no pixel artist but some of the stuff I changed just didn't feel right. So any advice ?

I think what he means is that you need to have confidence in your pack if you are getting discouraged. Anyway, you just have to make something that you like. If you like it, someone else will too. After that, you usually need something that makes it stand out from the rest, otherwise you'll just be making one of those 'cool' packs that you see all the time.
You always have to think that your texture pack will be better than anyone elses', because it is your own creation, once you have that in your head, use your imagination, be creative with your ideas. Whatever you do, DO NOT copy other texture packs.
