I find that a a lot of minecrafters like to make big, huge, functional bases. I, personally have never done it myself, because I can never know what easy to find, pretty block can be used. I mean, mega bases require TONS of blocks, and some blocks are easier to farm for than others. what is your go - to building block?

dirt looks pretty nice for most things, i would use glazed terracotta but its harder to get in large quantities sadly

Well I use cobblestone, birch planks, and oak logs. But mostly cobblestone.
