Minecraft 1.8 And It's Future
Most server owners(and players) have heard about the inevitable stopping of Bukkit and Spigot. Also, with the new EULA and some small but large changes in Minecraft 1.8, many players have started quitting or stopping their minecraft games, servers, and projects. Even though Spigot and Bukkit may be back, many of the announcements at the current time seem to have no good outcome(at least to the players). Now, here's my question. What do you guys think will happen in the future for Minecraft with the status it is currently in right now?

Its called sponge, the new bukkit
I think a new bukkit will be coded. Maybe by the same coders who coded bukkit. I personally think that mc will stay just as popular because the same concept is there.
I'm going to say that this is sort of a new beginning. Lots of the big servers are going to clear out with the EULA change discovery. This will broaden the spotlight for the next genius to discover a loophole to support his or her server, everyone will copy them, a new change discovery will be made within the EULA or ToS and it will repeat again. I am not worried, the good chunk of the Minecraft community will stay while the others can go back to their first person shooters.
