Minecraft bit of coding help! [Will give credit!]

Hey there guys!
BilboBaggins here, im having a bit of trouble with my mod, the "Better crafting and smelting mod! [NO MODLOADER!]. You see, im trying to make a crafting recipe for mycelium BUT, when I do Block.MushroomRed or Block.MushroomCapRed, it does not work! Also I made a recipe for ice, I made 4 snow makes 4 ice. BUT, it says I need SNOW. Not the snow BLOCK, just the thin layered snow!
Can I get the item code ID for that too? Block.Snow doesnt work

Why not search the block code for the block names?
Anyways, to use the snow block you put Block.blockSnow
And for mushroom caps on large mushrooms, you put Block.mushroomCapBrown
or Block.mushroomCapRed
You do Block.mycelium for mycelium though.
