Hey everyone! So 1.5 just came out today and I downloaded it. Everything works fine except the inventory. I press "E" to open it and my minecraft crashes. Does anyone else have this problem?

On this server I usually play on, not two minutes ago out of no where the sky started glitching and turning black then grey then blue, with lines across it. Never had that problem before but I've heard of it.
Okay. Here's one: running the command " /effect <username here> 5 60 60 ". That command will give you the strength potion effect x60 for 60 seconds. But if punch a mob/player while you have the effect on, the game will freeze and you'll be forced to quit the game as it becomes unresponsive. This bug also happens on multiplayer (tested on my private vinilla server). Exept with multiplayer the whole server chrashed and starts giving you "***failed to bind to port" messages upon startup of said server forcing you to redownload the server.
On one server, I cant make a crafting table, like some of the recipes are blocked....

In caves, I see alot of particles between blocks. Is this because of the texturepack or everyone's got it?

Yea I ended up resolving the problem, I had SPC version 4.5 for minecraft 1.4.7 and that was the reason I crashed. But thanks for your reply!
The other day I helped my friend install OptiFine for Windows. Since I'm a Mac, I explained it the way I usually do it on Mac. It worked, but Windows doesn't like aux.class files.
So, by installing mods in a certain way, if the mod has a aux.class file, it will cause your Minecraft to crash on inventory open.
