Minecraft Challenges

I have recently started a minecraft single player challenge where I start from Alpha 1.1 to the current version. I have made it all the way to beta 1.7 with the simple challenges I have thought of. I'm finding it too easy. I would like the reddit community to suggest some challenges to me. Suggest some for different updates. I would like them to have something to do with the update but build challenges are cool too.

So for each different minecraft update from beta 1.7-current day I would need a few challenges to complete. Usually having something to do with the update
