THE EPIC OF MINECRAFT
A Novel‑Style Narrative
PROLOGUE — THE FOUR WHO SHAPED THE WORLD
In the beginning, before mountains rose or oceans stirred, four beings drifted in the silent void.
Action, whose every movement birthed storms.
Foresight, who saw all futures before they came to pass.
Knowledge, who understood the laws of reality before reality existed.
Power, whose will alone could shape worlds.
Together they forged the Flames of Creation, and with them sculpted a world of forests, seas, and sky. When their work was done, they rested at the Center of the World, content to watch their simple creatures roam.
But Power was not content.
He wanted to create something greater.
CHAPTER I — THE FORBIDDEN CHILDREN
In secret, Power shaped beings unlike any the Hosts had made.
They walked upright.
They built tools.
They asked questions.
They were the Ancient Builders, and they were brilliant.
The other Hosts were horrified.
“Too dangerous,” they declared.
“Too ambitious. Too much like us.”
They banished the Builders to the far wild forests, far from the Center of the World.
Power’s heart hardened.
If the Hosts rejected his children, he would make a world of his own.
CHAPTER II — THE SECRET REALM
Deep beneath the Overworld, Power carved out a hidden kingdom.
A realm of ice, snow, and blue‑lit caverns.
A place untouched by the Hosts.
Here he created the Piglins, frost‑born and loyal, and dreamed of a kingdom where his creations would never be judged.
But the Hosts discovered his secret.
Their fury shook the foundations of creation.
They cast Power into the Void Beyond, sealing him away.
Without his will to sustain it, the frozen Nether began to collapse.
CHAPTER III — THE RISE OF ALEXANDRIA
Far above, the Ancient Builders flourished.
Under King Alexander, they founded Alexandria, a city of stone towers, redstone machines, and bustling markets. They discovered the secrets of redstone, built wonders, and dreamed of reaching the realms beyond.
Alexander became obsessed with the fabled Nether. Though the Hosts had sealed it beneath an unbreakable bedrock layer, he believed it could be reached.
He did not break the bedrock.
He built a portal capable of bypassing it.
After years of experimentation, the first Nether Portal ignited.
CHAPTER IV — THE MELTING OF THE NETHER
The Builders stepped into a world of frost and silence.
The Nether was still cold then — a realm of frozen caverns and pale blue light. The Piglins watched them with wary curiosity.
But the Builders brought fire.
Forges. Furnaces. Workshops.
Heat with nowhere to escape.
The Nether had no sky.
No wind.
No atmosphere.
The temperature rose.
Ice melted.
Stone softened.
Lava burst from the deep.
The Nether became the fiery wasteland known today.
The Piglins, enraged at the destruction of their home, attacked.
The Builders created Blazes to defend themselves, but were forced to retreat.
The Piglins vowed revenge.
CHAPTER V — THE INVASION
Using stolen Builder technology, the Piglins constructed their own portal and invaded the Center of the World.
Villages burned.
Forests fell.
The balance of creation trembled.
The Hosts intervened.
They summoned a single Builder champion, who defeated the Piglins and sealed the portal. Builders and Villagers united for the first time.
But the Hosts’ patience was wearing thin.
CHAPTER VI — THE WARDEN AND THE WITHER
In Alexandria, King Alexander built a massive portal, hoping to discover a new dimension.
He succeeded — too well.
He accidentally created one.
From the portal emerged the Warden, a blind titan of echo and fury. With it came the creeping corruption of Skulk, which devoured the city street by street.
Desperate, Alexander turned to forbidden knowledge — fragments of Power’s ancient teachings.
He created a weapon.
The Wither.
It destroyed the Warden.
Then it destroyed everything else.
The Builders fled across the sea, abandoning their homeland.
CHAPTER VII — HIGHBLOCK KEEP
On a distant mainland, Alexander founded Highblock Keep, a fortress crowned with an obsidian pinnacle strong enough to withstand the Wither.
Villagers settled the surrounding lands.
But Alexander feared the Wither would one day cross the sea.
So he built a secret cavern in the Redstone Mountains, crafting:
Redstone Golems
Iron Golems
The last defenses of his people.
But fate had other plans.
CHAPTER VIII — THE ORB OF DOMINANCE
In the End, Power used stolen bedrock to build a portal and escape back into the Overworld.
The Hosts caught him and imprisoned him inside a glowing sphere — the Orb of Dominance — which they hid deep in a forest.
Alexander found it.
And it found him.
The Orb whispered secrets of the End, corrupting his mind. Some Villagers sensed the change and rebelled, painting their skin gray and becoming the first Illagers.
Under the Orb’s influence, Alexander built a portal to the End.
He and his volunteers stepped through.
CHAPTER IX — THE CURSE OF THE END
The End was a realm of floating islands and eternal twilight.
The Builders founded cities of purpur, built flying ships, and hunted dragons to near extinction.
The Hosts watched in sorrow and anger.
They placed a curse upon the End:
The last dragon was moved above the portal home, surrounded by healing crystals.
The chorus fruit was cursed — those who ate it became Endermen, losing their minds and memories.
The End Cities fell silent.
Alexander himself became one of the first Endermen.
CHAPTER X — THE ARCH‑ILLAGER AND THE HEART OF ENDER
Back in the Overworld, an Illager leader discovered the Orb of Dominance and became the Arch‑Illager, ruling with cruelty.
The Villagers rose up and defeated him, shattering the Orb. Its fragments scattered across all dimensions.
One fragment reached the End.
There, a few surviving Builders confronted Power’s lingering essence. He unleashed his wrath as the Heart of Ender, but the Builders defeated him at last.
The Hosts allowed them to return home.
They sealed the End Portal deep underground, creating the first Stronghold, and tore down Highblock Keep.
Their final act was to withdraw from the world forever.
CHAPTER XI — THE FALL
Without a king, without unity, the Overworld collapsed.
People scavenged.
They starved.
They ate rotten flesh.
A plague spread, turning the living into the undead.
The zombie apocalypse consumed the land.
The Ancient Builders were nearly wiped out.
EPILOGUE — THE LAST TWO
Only two Builders survived:
Steve and Alex
The final descendants of Power’s forbidden creation.
They sailed away from the dying mainland, seeking a place untouched by ancient curses.
They found a quiet, empty land.
A place with no cities.
No kingdoms.
No memories.
And there, the story of the Player begins.
Whaddya think?
