Minecraft.net will do that it seems that it cant connect to download skin, etc..

Authentication servers are down. It also happened a few days ago

Minecraft Might be working on Multiplayer servers because i heard somewhere about them doing something diff to Multiplayer

Minecraft is up, but logging on to servers is not...

I'm not sure about it.. My server list is telling me that Legendary Craft has 79 people. It's been changing from 75-85 within the last 20 minutes... People are getting on?

It says on their website- their servers are working a bit too hard

If you guys are talking about being unable to login, That does not happen to me. Tested with Tekkit and Vanilla. If you're talking about unable to going into servers, I just get 'Connection lost: End of stream' errors.

yes the minecraft website and server where all the login infos are stored is down therefore noone can log in to verify to get on a server right now. you can check this website to see when its up again if you like friend showed it to me.
