Enderman Is a New Mob Coming into 1.8
- 3 Blocks Tall
- Black Creatures With Long Arms and Legs
- Have the Ability To Pick up Blocks and Move Them
- They Are Generally Peacful Creatures
- When you Stare at One They Stare Back at You and Freeze
- They Will Stay Frozen as long as you keep on looking at them.
- When you Look Away They Will Run Towards you and One Hit Kill You
- If they Are a Long Distance away They Will Teleport towards you up to seven times until they reach you. They Will only Teleport Where you can see. They Can Teleport Up to Once per Second
- Wearing a Pumpkin Will Prevent Endermen from Attacking you
If you Just Bought the Game And Your a Noob, You Cant even Build A Small Shelter For the Night Without A Endermen Coming other to Your House Picking Up Your Bricks and Walking in. You Will Never be Safe Again Unless You Are Wearing a Pumpkin Which You Cant Even See In. So Yes Endermens Are One Thing That Are Going to Ruin Minecraft.
Another Thing Thats Going to Destroy Minecraft Is Those Villages That Spawn In Your World. No Need To Build a Shelter Cause You Got a Village Next to Your Spawn. No More Punching Trees. Building a Shelter. You Could But You'll Feel Stupid For Doing it When Theres A Whole Village Next to Your Spawn.
Next Will Be Pokemon In Minecraft. Oh Wait! They Are. New Cricital Hits.
Also Thin Glass Is Coming Into it Aswell. Why? Whats the Whole Frickin Point in Thin Glass? What Does it Do? Sprinting is Another Thing Coming Into 1.8 By Spamming W You Can Sprint. And If you Sprint Into Enemys They Go Flying. No More Spiders Having a Speed Advantage. Unless They Have The Turrets Out of Portal 2 That Guard Your House Then I Am Not Impressed By This Update At All.

for the enderman? More annoying but I'll just make a moat of lava with a piston bridge >:3 ... or make my house from stone ...
And I've actually played with the NPC villages (at least the mod) and if it's anything like it, it wont be bad at all. You can obviously still build houses and the only reason you'd feel stupid is because your just that damn lazy. Because you STILL have the option to make your own home. And why not build a home IN the town, I have a feeling some of the NPCs might actually attacks mobs which might make things just a little less difficult.
Third for thin glass? Why not! I can't stand the thick bulky classic one

well the only thing i can think of is the fact that these will probably be very rare, as will villages, otherwise it sort of destroys the purpose of the game.

im looking forward to the new mob, 1.8 will improve minecraft alot. all of you who think enderman will destroy your house think again, he will probably only pick up world generated blocks. all of you guys stop raging about enderman, if you dont want him just play on peaceful.

I suggest lava/water motes around your house, or just a pit that the Enderman will fall in if it gets too close. Maybe some cacti at the bottom since cactus are easy to find in the right biome, I believe. Just thinking of ways to keep your house safe from enders. xD

Anyway, I have a tactic to kill them, you look at them and keep walking towards them and attack them, they can't move cause you're still looking at them =P
