Hey i was installnig a mod and then i realised it was the wrong one it was 1.6.6 derp
so i do what i normally do and delete my bin file and when i tried to update the game it just freezes on downloading packages and never moves
and i deleted the whole ".minecraft" folder and downloaded mc again and i still get the same problem help ?

the same thing happened to try downloading minecraft beta 1.2.6 and replace where the .minecraft folder was then the game should auto update
