I'm going to be honest, Minecraft is not haunted or cursed. Minecraft is just a sandbox with (some) creepy things in it such as, Disc 11 and Disc 13. But the entirety of the game is not scary, it is just a nice peaceful sandbox, stop making it seem like there are corrupted files, like "herobrine", "Entity 303" or "Null". These are fake. I may have made a post on herobrine possibly being real, but now I look back and feel stupid. Can we please stop trying to make minecraft scary.
Can't we just play mc without being scared of fake stuff? I wish we could just stop debunking every mob and quit blowing everything out of proportion. Thanks.
~ReelPlox.
P.S. I'm not responding to anybody having a tantrum in the comments.

Herobrine is real, you even get an achievement if you discover him!
Of course you only need my datapack to make that happen, but that's besides the point. Reminds me that I never got around to fixing the broken upload, I'll have a look see today.
Besides, of course Minecraft is haunted. Everyone knows this. you're just too afraid to accept the facts. Heck, the other day I was playing the dreaded disc to provoke the evil ones and what do you know? I go to the bathroom, come back, and my cup found its way into the dishwasher. Same with my gf's cup. And before we accuse her: she was sitting on the couch when I left the room and she was still sitting there when I came back.
So the only logical explanation is that Minecraft haunted my apartment.
And it's even worse during Halloween :)

Yeah, Minecraft. Nothing paranormal. Or that scary. Just going down to hell to meet flying heads that shoot fire at you, or going into a cave and seeing a tall green pig explode and getting shot by a skeleton while hearing ambience. Nothing more happy than tall shadow demons that teleport, or spiders the size of humans, or giant walking mouth monsters at the bottoms of caves. Or gray horned monsters the size of small houses that are ridden by pale men with extremely long noses attacking normal village men with extremely long noses. Nothing strange about going either into the void or sky or different dimension to meet a shadow dragon that has a toaster head. The white eyed Steve that is definitely not fake and made up. Or how nobody has a neck or fingers. Minecraft is a normal place.

lol. giant spiders and green, bipedal pigs that explode?
black people that rage when looked at? (endermen ok?) not trying to be racist of offensive here. sorry.
things that love carrots?
the lowest part of the world?
carts with no apparent source of power?
golems that live off energy of pumpkins?
OBVIOUSLY! NOT a paranormal world!

Pretty sure Herobrine lost it's scary YEARS ago. I haven't seen Herobrine used in a scary context since I first played the game (1.2.5). I think the real issue isn't "Minecraft isn't scary" it's more like "Minecraft horror writers are unoriginal" though I've heard there are some horror maps out there
1
exactly! alot of people would argue about the mobs, or mods, or horror maps, but mods are fanmade, and not vanilla Minecraft. as for the horror maps, that is not Minecraft in itself, those are fanmade maps made by fans.. as for the mobs, those aren't supposed to be 'paranormal' those are for gameplay and not to scare you.. paranormal is more like something that's not meant to be there, that scares you due to the thought of "huh, that's not supposed to be there.. that's not normal!" but mobs are supposed to be there, which doesn't make them scary... and you can turn them off with the peaceful setting
1
Some of the horror maps I've been playing would like to disagree... its amazing what you can do with command blocks and a twisted mind.
2
that's not the sandbox in itself, though. that's stuff created by players of Minecraft..not Minecraft itself-
1
That is true but the game as a sandbox allows them to be created which allows for the chance for them to be made and I only brought it up due to op saying the game wasn't scary.
I'm too deep into Herobrine Lore right now to even try and prove theres anything glitched into the game (the things I do for videos)

that is NOT vanilla minecraft!

But still it would beg to DIFFER

bro herobrine

ok, the entity 303, Herobrine and Null are creepypastas, however it's wrong to deny that minecraft isn't paranormal, as it still has witches, evokers, vexes, zombies and skeletons and dimensional travel, teleportation and enchantments which all fall under the paranormal category
1
LOOOOOOL. Those are in-game mobs lol.
1
those mobs are just for action, they never act gory.
1
Can argue there...
