So I can play it, The skins though when I try Upload one it says
503 Service Temporarily Unavailable

I got that message as well, what I did that seemed to work was to open the MineCraft launcher and instead of pressing play, on top click "Skins" and you can change your skin that way if that's what you want to do.
You'll have to download the skin to your computer if you want to use one from PMC.

Thats just a networking issue, It might not be your fault, just try again after some time has passed.
