Minecraft.jar problems

hello everybody i just got a new computer and it has windows 7. i have never used windows 7 before. i am wondering how to open minecraft.jar and switch it from .jar to winrar so i can open it.
please cas somebody help me

Go to bin. Right-click minecraft and go to "open with" it should say java or winrar.Click Winrar and it open. :3

ok, right click the minecraft.jar file, move to Open With > and then select WinRar archiver.
