Haha wut. First of all, it's not like the creators of minecraft couldn't handle high resolution art (eh, maybe notch but I doubt it, not the point), it's that they didn't want to. They used low detail pixelated textures as an artistic design. Minecraft wouldn't have near the following if it used high res textures. You can try to tell yourself different but it's the truth. If the creeper was high res, it would lose quite a bit of it's liking. Then it wouldn't be a character you love to hate but rather one that you completely despise. We can't keep going higher and higher detail, one day soon we will reach the limit possible, then what? A next game will come out with higher definition than the last? I think not. Then the best graphics will be the ones that are truly artistic, like minecraft.

I dont care about the graphics, i like blowing s*** up. And sadly, minecraft doesnt satisfy my urges in that department, plus, i actually enjoy full scale tank/artillery/fighter/bomber warfare.

I like both, I love minecraft for the large scale building and everything you can do, but I love roblox at least as much, for the amazing things that are possible when you actually know what you're doing, and the sheer destructibility of things, and that not basically everything is exactly the same standard size... I do think it is funny though, that some people have attempted to recreate minecraft in roblox.
