I just want a place for miners to share their experience whist mining.
i for instance found 7 diamonds on my first trip mining on a new world.

So, this one time I found diamond.
4 months ago. -_-
I haven't been able to find anything but coal, redstone and iron on layers 5-13 all day. Then I got lost and it took me hours to find my house. So I decided that I've had enough survival for the day.

I was starting a strip mine, and as I was mining the floor (redecorating , i found 8 diamonds *facepalm
Oh, and I also found emeralds in an ocean biome o.o

lucky you, I wish I found 8 diamonds all in a row... Hey you lot! Guess what! I just found 8- no I didn't actually, I just felt like lifting my spirits. It didn't work though...

I was on a server and there was a regenerative area. I found 3 veins of 8 diamonds in that area and found it again several times by accident. (should have marked it, but ah well)
