Creating mods starts with an idea. You want to solve a problem, or create a new mechanic. Working with others is optional. But if you are a designer and need a programmer, you can work together.
MCreator can do a lot, but it depends on what you want to make. If it gets hard, you should learn, or find someone, who knows how to code the thing.
