MOD HELP
hey i want to mod minecraft without winrar or 7zip and a found a video/tutorial on how to do it and it worked for the guy on the vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yA7E_O5ynME but there was 1 or 2 comments on it saying it deleted there minecraft.jar folder forever then theres was a few others saying it worked do u think i should try to do this or is i dangureus

I make it so windows shows each file extension. I renamed minecraft.jar to minecraft.zip, then i deleted meta-inf and put in all the class files.
i use magic launcher just select the .zip and it adds it to minecraft it will tell you if it will crash how many errows there are and you can turn them on or off
i would send a message to the people, that said it "worked" for them, and asked them what specifically they did, and then follow their instructions, it would be your best bet.
