im working on a mod, and a core item for it is "Pure Energy"
and i wondered if any of you had ideas how the item would be obtainable, i feel that a Ore wouldent fit with the energy idea

If i understand you correctly... There could be an ore, then when you mine it you get an ingot. Then you use the ingot to craft a machine, and when you kill a mob it drops like an energy bar. When you put the energy bar in the machine it creates a ball of energy. Like putting iron ore in a furnace.
Smelt wood in furnace and connect it to a special machine that puts the enegry to a capsule
It should be combined with different items.

It shouldn't "just" be obtained since its pure energy. It should be very hard to obtain. Like you need to mine something and combine it with something else and then melt it in a furnace.
Mob drop? Like from bats, pigs, pretty much any good mob
