If you can do dimension mods, make a new dimension that will be floating islands but like a place above the Nether because it will be a red sky and a orange sun *More than regular sun.* and the floating-islands will be made of netherrack, and soulsand will sometimes be on an island..Friendly ghats spawn but attack when hit and zombie-pigmen spawn in the dimension too.Lava will also be pouring from islands sometimes and no water anywhere.
To get there just make a regular portal gate except mad eout of glowstone and light the portal-gate with flint-and-steel and a red-portal appears in the gate for you to go through to the dimension.
It will also be called the AeNether *Or whatever you want to call it.*
*NOTE: There will be no ceiling and no ground, just the mobs and other stuff and floating-islands.*

A mod which adds weapons, vehicles and a currency, a new 'villager' with some new sea villages which are around the sea and some new blocks. You should be able to trade with a better interface than the 1.3 something like millenaire. Make the people and village sort of modern. Also if you could add furniture and that to make it a 'modern pack' with all the stuff we have now a days. So like a tv (even if it is blank). Basically I want randomly spawning modern-ish villages, better testificates, sea villages, modern furniture and that you wouid find in a house and a few shotguns, pistols, subs and machine guns, maybe even a sniper. If this mod could too be SMP I would play it with my friends.

Try and make a mod with randomly spawning fast food places (McDonalds, Burger King, etc.) and have it so you can buy food. Food like chicken nuggets, french fries, and burgers could be added to be bought. The stores could have NPC's that work there.

Make a bill board, its like a sign expect bigger. a sign is 1 by 1 block while a bill board would be 2 by 2.
Make a nuke that doesn't drop any blocks when it explodes.

A Jericho Missle. A piece of TNT that shoots of of a craftable launcher which splits in mid-air into 5 other TNT (same size as regular TNT) which blow up. Its the easy TNT cannon
