Multiplayer Broken?

Locked. Everything has pretty much been said. Basically, there was a loophole in servers that allowed people to log in as others. However, they couldn't have got access to your password, nor could they have got access to your personal files. Mojang are working on the issue, it will be fixed soon.

some advise get of PMC im looking at alot of minecraft websites having big problems not sure if anything is being done to stop this alot of what was thought to be minor hackings before probly lead up to this

Try to avoid the cracked servers the hackers are normally on there.

i was just on a server with Notch, jeb_, ChimneySwift, Honeydew, and Israphel lol all hackers

I was on mcraftia survival server, and I saw a Notch and he said in chat "This server is gay" "I hate this server".

Is this a fake notch regarding what's going on right now?

Go to www.mojang.com to know what really is going on.

Notch says that progress is being made and all information is safe so if you do get hacked don't worry they can't access anything other than your MC character (i.e. they can sign in as you but they cant see the information they're signing in with)

The servers are down because people are being hacked. I was being hacked, so I really hope they fix it!

What's happening is that if you have a migrated account and have signed in using your email, you were vanurable. Login servers have been shut off though and I suggest if you have a cracked server you take it down..

Everyone should be fine though because mojang has shut down almost everything they can do to access these and are working on a fix as we speak.

Migrated account is something you sign up for so you can buy other mojang games with the same account, so that's why it's called a migrated accounts because it migrates that account between other games. If your account is just a Minecraft account then you are good.
