Adding more ram won't make it faster unless you use all the ram. I would actually recommend selling the computer and getting an entirely new computer build for the money.
Pm me your budget after that and i'll fix up an build for you.

You have 3ish GB's of ram, adding more wont make it any faster. What is your video card? Have you updated its drivers? If so, then upgrade the video card.

Assuming you have a decent power supply and don't plan on playing anything too demanding, all you really need to do is throw in a new graphics card. I suggest an NVIDIA GTX 660, as I have it and it works wonders, but in the end, it's up to you. Just make sure you buy a card with a good clock speed (1 GHz+), at least 1 GB of memory (most good ones these days have 2 GB), and at least 512 processors (NVIDIA calls them "CUDA cores"). The GTX 660 has a 1.05 GHz base clock, 2 GB of memory, and 960 cores.

So you are looking on upgrading? Or a new computer. If you are looking for ram just go to New egg and search 8-16 gb ram and fine one that you like.

I want to upgrade it and have it run a bit better then it does
