I plan to make a minecraft server in the near future. I am a experienced minecraft server owner due to my previous servers I ran. It has been a while since I have come back to minecraft now and I am unsure what kind of servers players are looking for more of. I would like some opinions of what type of server I should host with a few things kept in mind
- It would be a brand new server (little to no players to start off with)
- A server type that is reasonably possible to make (no major scripting, mostly premade plugins)
- Lack of staff starting off with.

Well it seems like survival servers have lost a LOT of popularity, and there are a surplus of Faction servers. Creative can get boring and people will leave after a while.
I guess your best bet is to get creative and make something completely unique to the MineCraft community. Whether it be a knockoff of a different game. Or a TV show possibly. I think that is why Hub servers are so plentiful because people like the variety.
