New Nether???

I am asking if anyone knows how to delete the nether, so that minecraft will generate a new one??
The reason is that now with the full release i would like the new stuff, but i do not want to start a new world...
Does anyone have any ideas?

What Loki said, if you haven't really gone anywhere in the nether then you should be able to get the new features if you generate newer chunks. Not 100% positive but that's how it usually works
just journey far out into the nether to generate new chunks
Why do you need a new nether it's a crap hole.
