Overview:
I have a great server idea for you guys today that I, under any circumstances, might make. So as you can probably tell by the title, this server is about life. You will go through life in this server just as you would in real life. The time period in this server would be the modern age, like where we actually are right now. So, without further ado, let’s get down to business about the server!
Your Server Life:
Your server life will start as soon as you join the server. You will spawn in a room with 2 doors, infant and fresh out of college. If you choose infant, you will be spawned at the adoption agency awaiting adoption, or to go to an orphanage. When and if you get adopted, you will most likely be taken to your family’s house to be raised. If you start off fresh out of college, you will start with a cheap apartment room. After you get settled in, you can go find a job. Jobs are very important, as they earn you lots of money to pay bills, mortgage, to buy food and items, and to buy new homes. You will also have to go through driving school to be able to drive a car. As life progresses on, you will most likely get better jobs and homes and maybe a wife and a family. There will hopefully be a TV plugin, if not, there WILL be a radio. As time passes, you will grow old. You will die after a long time of playing. But don’t fret! When you die, you go to heaven (in another world). You will always be in vanish and in adventure mode. You, however, can’t communicate with normal people in the real world. You can go to the real world and roam around, haunt homes, or just watch people. If you commit suicide, you go to hell. No escaping. You are stuck there forever. If you are killed by someone in game, you don’t get to come back. However, doctors can revive you… if you can afford it. So if you get killed by someone and you can’t afford a revive, you die forever. You will go to heaven.
So that is it for the starting point. Let’s talk about some jobs that are offered in the game.
Jobs:
There are many jobs available to every player. Let’s start with the basics:
Miner: Mines for a living to sell items to shops for money. The miner, depending on what he/she finds, makes around $100,000 per year. This job, depending on how hard you work, will supply you with a good house for 1-4 people.
Lumberjack: Collects wood to sell to contractors and or shops. The lumberjack makes around $85,000 per year. This will supply you with a house for a family of 1-2 people. You and a mate.
Farmer: The farmer raises crops and livestock to sell either in official shops, or their own shops. This job makes $50,000 per year. If you can live with a small house, you are ok with this. It is recommended that if you choose this job, you choose another one for extra pay.
There are bigger and better jobs available to you…if you have the talent. Let’s take a look at some of the better jobs offered to you:
Lawyer: The lawyer makes around $1,000,000 per year, and maybe more if you win more cases. This will supply you with a large house for a large family. You will bathe in money with your salary.
CEO: This job earns roughly $850,000 to $1,000,000 per year. They manage businesses for a living. This job will supply you with a large house as well.
Doctor: This job earns about $350,000 per year. This will give you a nice house that you will be able to cope with. Plus….FREE life insurance!!!
Boxer: This job earns you $1,500,000 to $2,000,000 for each fight you win, plus a bonus for being world champion.
There will be more jobs to choose from, but that is all I can currently think of for now. So now that we have covered the basic stuff, let’s talk about actually living your life in the server:
Obviously your life starts when you first join. Whether you start at infant or young adult, you WILL become an adult one day. As an adult you will have things to take care of, such as house payments, food, life insurance, clothes, kids, gas, and new homes. All this comes from jobs. If you don’t have a good job, don’t have kids! The worst place you can live is in an apartment. After that comes a tier 5 house. These houses are small and have a basement. There isn’t much room to move around, but is very doable. The next would be a tier 4 house. These are houses you normally find in suburbs. They have lots of rooms, big, lengthy, and 2 floors. Next is tier3, or country homes. These homes are large and come with land for you to use. Next is tier 2 which is considered rich. Then, tier 1. These homes are mansions in good parts of town. They often include indoor and outdoor pools, 3 floors, a lake, land, security, and a private wooded area. So now that you have picked your job and a house, you have to get to work. Now, you can’t go and work for one day and get all your years’ salary. You have to work once a day for 1 week in real life, which is 1 Minecraft year in the server. After you start working, it is time to meet a special someone. There are absolutely no rules against homosexuality, so pick whatever you want. If you were smart, you picked someone with a job to help you pay bills and stuff like that. Next thing is kids. If you want kids, then go to the adoption cent- oh wait! You need a car to get there! Perhaps 2! Go buy 1 or 2 cars so you can get to work and there and back faster! Now go get some kids if you want any.
