The only use for Emeralds is in exchanging them for items and vice versa. It can be mined from extremely rare Emerald Ore, which is roughly as rare as Diamond Ore

I knew you could trade with villagers but i didn't know that was Emeralds only purpose.
Emeralds are for trading to villagers for items they arent Testificates anymore!

Emeralds are for Villager Trading. You right click on a villager and they will ask you for some emeralds and they will give you some melon or an apple in return. Emeralds are basically a currency in Minecraft.

finite sized maps maps now are finite so and you can fly over them using creative
Its not finite.
Tripwires for hidden TNT traps
Piston Mechanic Changes which could ruin current piston designs that are VERY COMPLICATED!
Also Ender Chests are invincible, each wood plank has it's own name, now you can have larger biomes if you want and trip wires are fun
