I was on a single player minecraft and was building a little city thing I was going to call Minehattan. Out in the oceans I had built a HUGE Statue of Notch. I then started on a bridge after finishing the statue. My computer lagged up in the process. Next thing I know, the lag clears up and I'm dead. I respawn and while trying to figure out what happened, found that Notch's head was missing... What do you think happened?

Something similar happened to me, I was building 3D ponies around my huge castle, and I lagged a bit, kept walking, stopped, changed my settings just to see what would happen and I died, then when I spawned in my house I started working on some underground stuff, but when I went outside to check on the ponies, one was missing a neck, one was missing half a tail, and another had a hole in her stomach, like 2 creepers got to her, but I dunno... 3 out of the 6 got messed up.
