1.7 pistons
The piston's in 1.7 are not what I expected they were going to be although you can still make things with them, but only basic creations. E.G secret door
Firstly they cannot launch sand and gravel like in the mod so you can't make a mexican wave design www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpEe5mPIrl4
Also pistons cannot be turned to face you by right clicking so placing them is more difficult. Then there is the redstone placement. You cannot make a self repairing bridge because where in the mod the row of pistons that push the cobblestone into the bridge would work automatically using redstone. In 1.7 the pistons don't attach with redstone the same way which means they do not work unless you attach a pressure plate to each one and run over them.
If you can prove any of these statements wrong can you tell me how you managed it and I will give you a gold star! Just kidding but seriously it would be a big help.

I wanted faith plates damnit.
I agree, I wish notch (or jeb, can't remember who exactly was working on them) would have copied the mod more exactly. It gets annoying when you can't have the piston in the direction you want it and you have to destroy all of your work. I have found some innovative uses for the pistons in my plumbing though
