I'm just curious, isit really that hard to make a simple plugin? Because I'm thinking about making my own custom plugins (basic plugins) for now, soi.

It's really easy to make any kind of plugin as long as you have the patience to learn.
Simple plugins are what the name says, simple. They are easy to make if you can code stuff easily and know java well. If you want to make your own plugin, bukkit has tutorials that teach you how. You can head there or a youtube tutorial could teach you.
