Plugin for ranks

I would say use Groupmanager, it's very easy to use and works with almost all permission based plugins.

as opposed to something odd-sounding, like:

CODE: SELECT ALL
/manuadd <player> <group>
/manpromote <player>
/mangaddp <group> <permission.node> #Man-guh-add-puh?

How does that sound odd? It means manually add a player to this group, I find that it's the easiest way to do it.

I prefer PEX. But it all depends on what you need from the plugin.

PEX is more user-friendly overall in the sense that the commands are broken down into simple forms, like:

/pex user <player> group set <group>
/pex promote <player>
/pex group <group> add <permission.node>

PEX's permissions file is also easier to use, since it offers everything GroupManager has (plus more, but I need to check if GM has caught up to PEX), but it's all in one, simple file.

I would recommend GroupManager, more simple that PermissionsEX and they both get the job done well.

PermissionsEX. Though it's kind of hard, it runs very well. Plus, Group Manager is not in McmyAdmin

Both Pex and Group manager are great but i recommend Group Manager because creating the ranks is simpler
