It's Possible To Quit Without Saving!
I've been poking around at the game discovering somethings such as the fact you can actually quit without saving! Whenever you even open the escape menu, it saves chunks for the overworld, nether, and end, so you can't do it that way. The way you have to do it is by manually crashing the game using F3 and c. It won't save any chunks! You can also save without quitting just by opening the escape menu.

That has always been possible, ever heard of ALT + F4? (well I think that still works doe) but just use that or task manager.
It saves your position, but not the chunks.
