I downloaded this project but I don't know how to access it and play on it. It's a rar file. (I kinda don't know what a rar file is.... ) I was wondering if anyone could help me with this? I just want to be able to play on it.

if you cant find the saves file which is in a hidden place (litterally)
go to run and type "%appdata%" then go to ".minecraft" --> "saves" and put the extracted folder in there

To use this you must first extract it from the RAR file, to do this you must get an archive program that supports RAR; i personally suggest 7-zip.
After you have extracted the save file from the RAR file, put it in your saves folder on minecraft
