Question about Minecraft Java

I am in the process of writing my own guide book to starting and surviving in Minecraft for new players. I currently own Minecraft PE for the iPad and Minecraft Bedrock for Win10. I am wondering if the Java version is that much different, and more interested how the licences for Java work? I have a Mac and a Windows10 laptop. If I bought the Java version, would I be allowed and able to load the software on both my Mac and Windows machine? I know they now tie the install to your Microsoft account. https://9apps.ooo/

You can download minecraft java edition for free on as many computers as you want, but it's useless without an account. that's why you can buy one account and play it on any computer
Yeah, you don't have to have multiple accounts or buy Minecraft multiple times to have it on other machines, just redownload it through the minecraft.net website.
