I am looking into purchasing the PC version, but need a couple questions answered if possible.
I would like to install this on at least 2 computers: my desktop and my laptop. Now when my son comes over, we would like to play at the same time OFFLINE, so we would not actively play on the same map. Would we be able to do so simultaneously? Again, we would NOT be logging into an online server, just playing offline as in the 360 edition.
Would any additional logins be needed, like do we need to log into mojang to play offline, and if so can we both log into my account (which I guess is needed to DL the game)?

Technically, you don't even need to purchase it, but assuming you're offline, you should have no problem, but you might need to set "online_mod=true" to "offline_mode=false" in the server properties.
You can play offline simultaneously, in fact, if you're on different servers, you can play on servers simultaneously. You don't need to log in additionally, as far as I am concerned.
