Anyone play Runescape? Anyone love the random events like the evil turkey or minigame npc's? I sure do. I think that adding random events like these would be a really cool addition to Minecraft. It would reward the players who play for hours.
Just imagine yourself building something or mining for an hour or so then *poof* you are transported to a land where (insert random event) happens. If you beat the event, you get a reward that is strictly available through that event. Like a decoration item or mask, etc. Maybe even a special spawn egg. Then *poof* you are back where you started and can resume playing normally...(but you were just made a little happier)!

Random evens would require a lot of programming to add into minecraft as it is (Especially with differen't worlds and minigames) so I doubt it will be added even though it is a good idea.
